In a post-apocalyptic world, three kids struggle for survival.
No more human rights. Money no longer has any value and there is nothing left but war.
Every distraction can be fatal.
During their frantic escape they accidentally come across a magical place,
where time and fear seem to shatter before a true first encounter with art.
A short sci-fi story in my favourite museum in Rome
The story takes place around and inside my favourite museum in Rome.
During my collaboration with the museum staff I also had the chance to visit several secret parts of it and they all ended up in the story.
I can perfectly remember myself imagining the three kids, running in the museum empty rooms.
I had a beautiful experience drawing this story and hope you'll like it as much as I liked drawing it.

"È un progetto pensato per i bambini e i ragazzi che partecipano ai laboratori museali.
Cinquantuno albi che raccontano, attraverso l’arte del fumetto, la contemporaneità
dei musei italiani, luoghi vivi dove accadono storie incredibili e dove l’immaginazione
viene spinta verso nuovi fili narrativi tra suggestioni del passato e scenari fantascientifici.
Nei musei non tutto è come sembra e, a volte, basta cogliere un dettaglio inconsueto
per trovarsi catapultati in un tempo indefinito dentro storie strabilianti, tra personaggi
realmente esistiti, mostri, creature fantastiche, fantasmi e supereroi.
Questi fumetti sono un punto d’unione tra 51 musei dello Stato e 53 tra i migliori
fumettisti italiani, autrici e autori che hanno trasformato i musei e le aree archeologiche
in spettacolari set scenografici di storie in bilico tra la vita quotidiana del museo
e la sua straordinarietà. Vignette che permettono di scoprire le collezioni italiane
e le architetture che le conservano, di intrufolarsi negli angoli segreti e di immergersi
nelle sale espositive più famose al mondo."
